In 2010, at a TED talk

A man spoke about a revolution that was needed in education, not a reform … because a reform is just trying to improve a broken model. He also said that Technology in the hands of extraordinary teachers, could bring about that revolution….

I am The Traveling Teacher. I am ahead of my time. I am part of that revolution.

As parents and teachers, we can’t predict the outcome of our children’s development,
we can only, like farmers, create conditions in which they can flourish.

My belief is that if we pay attention to their natural curiosity and talents,
If we help them to love learning and
to be excited by challenge…

THEN WE HAVE TAUGHT THEM SOMETHING.

I am packing my bag with:

A set of really cool skills.
A laptop.
And a deep understanding of student learning.

Then I am taking education on the road…

My goal is to reach as many children as possible… to have them questioning, creating, learning and loving it. I believe that NOW is the time where we will change the face of education and ultimately, the world.
